Smokin Aces

Hello! A good movie I've seen recently is SMOKIN ACES. This movie was hard to understand but at the end they summed it up. In this movie hitmen are being payed to kill and remove Buddy Isreal's heart for 1 million dollars. They want his heart for a reason. Buddy Isreal is a magician who is going back and forth to the Mob and the FBI. Their is a lot of Action in this movie. So If you like that stuff go see it.

Analysis of Women's Role

Women in Athenian society were not as important as men.
Women had no voice of opinion. Women were expected to do as they are told by the men.

Poems by Sappho

1. The poem I understood best was "To Aphrodite of..." the poem talks about the holy temple. The poem takes you their it sounds so peaceful and relaxing.
3.The speaker has much respect for the person in "He is more than a Hero". She sees him as a god figure, and has much power. The setting in "To Aphrodite..." is a holy temple of nature. She talks about the apple trees, rose and meadows. Mother nature is a beauty. In "Some say thorning..." The speaker talks about Helen of Troy and she thinks of Anctoria's absence because she misses her friend.
4. Sappho values intimate moments of friendship in two of the poems she talks about past friendshios. Sappho also appreciates the beauty of nature. She observer her surroundings.
6. I think the contemporary singer would be Natasha Bedingfield. In her music she talks about nature. The poems sound very mellow and that is how Natashas music sound to my ears.

Say No to Drugs!

Drugs are a big problem now a days lots of kids are giving into the pressure but, drugs are not the solution. To prevent your children from doing drugs you need to talk to them at an early age. Tell them what the consequences are if you take or try drugs. Have your children set goals for them self and not to let those things interfere with their lives.
